·         Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) was established in the year 2002. We have dedicated faculty members in our department and every one qualified with Master degree. The students are highly motivated by our staff members and they learn and practice their technologies in an excellent infrastructure, high speed computing resources, well-furnished laboratories and advanced library infrastructure provided by our college.

           The department of MCA has been getting the Pondicherry University gold medals since 2005. So far 7 batches have successfully completed their course and have gone with 100% convocation. The top ten university ranks are tabulated.

• Because of active involvement and effort of our placement cell, so far 225 students have been placed through on-campus in various software companies like Tata Consultancy Services, HCL, Syntel, Sathyam, Patni Computers, iFLEX Solutions, Honeywell, Wipro, Syntel, Infosys, Mahindra-Sathyam, Soft-Gen, Accenture, Caritor, L& T, Mindlogix, Hexaware & I-gates with highest pay scale of Rs. 3.4 lakhs/anum.
• The association of MCA was started in the year 2004 to enrich the knowledge of our students and project themselves in the technological world.
• The Department has conducting a National Level Seminars / workshops / Students Technical Symposium in every year in association with Computer Science and Engineering & Information Technology departments. The eminent personalities from various software industries / MNC’s / Institutions have been invited as a resource person to share their technical ideas and knowledge to our students and make them to prepare for industrial need.

•  Our MCA students actively participated in various events like Paper presentation, Technical quiz, Debugging, Web Designing, Software Presentation etc., and won overall championship award for more than 7 times and also presented nearly 60 papers in various national conferences/symposium and 10 papers in the International Conferences organized by various institutions/professional bodies in and around the Puducherry and Tamil Nadu state.

Mr. B. Chandtrasekar & Mr. M. Balamurali from II Year MCA presented a Paper at Pondicherry     University and won the II Prize.

• The faculty members of department of MCA presented nearly 75 papers in various national conferences, 25 papers in the International Conferences & 10 publications in reputed International / national journals.

• The department having excellent laboratory facilities with all advanced software’s and computing resources. We are having separate Networking laboratories, Oracle lab, Linux Lab, computer Graphics lab and Linux laboratories.
• As the part of the academic activities students were permitted to visit the software industries / MNC’s to have an interaction with the industry personalities and also to know about the current technologies.
