Electronics & Communication Engineering

 The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering  started in the year 1999 offers a UG Programme (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering and PG Programmes (M. Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering. The B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering Programme  is accredited by NBA, New Delhi. The department has a team of committed faculty members who are well qualified and also backed by rich industrial, research, teaching experience. The sincere effort of our faculty to motivate the students has produced remarkable achievements in Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities. The dedication of our Faculty and the keen interest exhibited by our students has produced a commendable academic record with university ranks every year. We hold a privilege that before their graduation, 90% of the students got placement in reputed companies.

Facilities: 

 

Electronics and Devices Lab

  • The lab facilitates the amateurs to learn the basics of electronics.
  • The lab is equipped to study the characteristics of all the electronics devices.  
  • MultiSim software is used by the students to validate and design various circuits.

Communication Lab

  • The lab has a state of art equipments to study various communication systems like AM, FM, PM, PCM, DM, CVSD.
  • Digital communications modules like ASK, FSK PSK, Line coders, PRBS along with various multiplexors are available.

Digital circuits Lab

  • The lab is intended for sophomores for practicing their theoretical knowledge by designing.
  • Construction and testing sequential and combinational logic circuits are practiced.
  • Digital trainer kits available for the lab are designed and constructed by our own faculty members.

Network Transmission Lab

  • The lab is equipped with transmission line analyzer to study characteristics of transmission lines with various terminations, spectrum analyzer, modules for the design of passive filters, wave form generators and DSO.

Microwave and Advanced Communication Lab

  • Microwave test bench working at X band with various microwave components is available.
  • sophisticated equipment like Network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, OTDR, Transmission line analyzer, Antenna pattern analyzer ,ISDN trainer module, GSM MODEM are available.

Embedded and simulation lab

  • Software lab with high end systems for scientific computation and design. Circuit simulation, PCB tools, Cross compilers for Micro Controllers and Digital signal processing and Trainers to simulate LAN technology is available.
  • This lab feature with Lab view software & Elvis Hardware facility to do design, assembling & testing all analog & digital Circuits.

Microprocessor and Microcontroller lab

  • This lab provides the facility to learn about the programming and interfacing concepts of 8 bit, 16 bit Microprocessors / Micro controllers / PIC.  Students develop various robots with the support provided in the laboratory.

Microwave and Advanced Communication Lab

  • Microwave test bench working at X band with various microwave components is available.
