Bachelor of Education
Eligibility for Admission to the course
a). A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the Degree for Bachelor of
Education provided that he/she should have passed the Undergraduate Degree
Examination of this University in the 10+2+3 stream or a degree of any other
University accepted as equivalent, in any school subject listed below.

b). A candidate should have secure a minimum of 45% of marks in the part III of the
Undergraduate degree in the subject for which he/she seeks admission in the B.Ed
course. In case of candidate belonging to SC/ST community, a mere pass is
eligible.
c). A candidate who has taken more than one main subject in Part III (Double or
Triple Major) in the Undergraduate Degree will be eligible for admission to any
one of the main subjects.
2. DURATION
a). The course of study shall be the duration of one academic year, consisting of 180
working days with five working days in a week (150 days for teaching and 30
days for supervised intensive practice internship and other practical activities)
excluding the days of admission and university examination as prescribed by
NCTE.
b). Demonstration, Criticism and Observation classes are compulsory for a candidate
to attend the intensive Teaching Internship.
c). Intensive Teaching Internship is compulsory. In exceptional cases, the head of the
institution may condone 10% of attendance relaxation.
3. ELIGIBILLITY FOR ADMISSION TO EXAMINATION
A candidate shall be allowed to appear at the B.Ed Degree Examination only if he/she has put in not less than 80% of overall attendance.
